Dr. Pamela Williamson
As the owner and founder of Biish Management & Consulting, I am a First Nation professional with wealth of skills and extensive experience acquired in a senior administrator capacity in the area of indigenous primary health care. As integral values I incorporate into my work and personal life, I strongly believe in a wholistic approach to health and well-bring and that cultural is truly medicine.
In a consulting or project based capacity, I successfully and competently develop a variety of reports required by indigenous health organizations and First Nations. As a dependable and unbiased external expert, First Nation and indigenous organizations are welcomed to contact me to review, assess and recommend pragmatic changes based on their unique needs or issues. Final reports are supported with relevant and current research and data where possible.
Suggested areas of demonstrated and previous successes include organizational reviews, program specific reviews, needs assessments, proposal writing, strategic development, policy review, accreditation preparation, employee orientation manuals, job description review, and others. I am also available to meet with non-for-profit health departments or organizations to seek ways to develop or grow programs and initiatives.
As the recruitment of senior administrators or managers is often challenging, health departments or organizations may become overburdened due to insufficient human resource capacity to bridge the gap. I can be contacted to provide management level services on interim and short-term basis until a full-time successor is hired and in place. As well, I am available to provide mentorship and/or orientation to ensure the success of the new employee within their new administrative capacity.
